Pretty weak just a boring glossary with many random and unrelated terms. Im a geology major and there isnt anything here that you couldnt get out of a dictionary save your dollar it also takes forever to load.
Numerous definitions, but tending toward the simplistic on at most a basic junior high level. Might be useful for elementary earth science. Geo majors DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!
Many terms are related to the mining process.
Very useful for students! I have used this app as a reference source in all of my geology classes thus far. Terminology and definitions for minerals, all igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks, textures, and structures. As well as optical mineralogy terminology, igneous and metamorphic petrology definitions. I like that I do not need internet to use this great reference app!
Six of the first 10 words I looked up for my basic Geol class were not there. The other for seemed to be written for someone they are trying to impress. Google is free, and more functional.
